🔍 Description:
The Staghorn Crab is a tiny, tube-dwelling hermit crab that lives embedded inside the branches of SPS corals — most often Acropora or Montipora. Unlike traditional hermits, they don’t roam the tank. Instead, they stay put in coral pores, extending their delicate feather-like appendages to capture plankton and suspended detritus from the water column.

They’re incredibly cryptic and often go unnoticed, but these miniature crustaceans are 100% reef safe and can even benefit the coral by helping keep its surface clean.
