      🔍 Description:
The Pacific Sally Lightfoot Crab is a lightning-fast, flat-bodied crab with long legs and striped or spotted coloration. It’s highly agile and can scurry up glass, over rocks, and through tight crevices with ease. Known for its voracious algae grazing, it’s often added to reef tanks for bubble algae, film algae, and detritus control.

However, as these crabs grow, their behavior can become less reef-friendly, and they may start to nip at corals, inverts, or even fish — especially if underfed or cramped.

      Must HaveMust Have

      ✅ Why They're a Must-Have (in the right system):

Excellent Algae Grazer: Known to eat hair algae, film algae, and bubble algae.

Super Active: Always on the move, adds high-energy personality to your tank.

Tough and Hardy: Adapts well to a range of tank conditions and salinity.

Great in Larger Reefs: When kept well-fed and in spacious tanks, can stay peaceful.

      Notes for SuccessNotes for Success

      ⚠️ Notes for Success:

Reef Safe With Caution: Risk increases as they grow — monitor around snails, shrimp, and polyps.

Feed Regularly: Supplement diet with algae sheets or meaty bits to reduce predatory behavior.

Secure Rockwork: Strong and agile — may knock over loose frags or lightweight decor.

No Tiny Tankmates: Can harass small gobies, blennies, or molting inverts in tight quarters.
