The Red Leg Reef Hermit Crab is a colorful and active member of any reef tank clean-up crew. With bright red legs, hairy antennae, and a habit of always being on the move, these little guys help clear algae from rocks and glass while scavenging leftover food and detritus from your sandbed.

They’re smaller and more peaceful than many other hermit species, making them ideal for nano to full-size reef aquariums. Like all hermits, they rely on empty snail shells to grow — and will occasionally battle for a better home.
