Porcelain Crabs are flat-bodied, anemone-dwelling filter feeders with delicate, fan-like appendages they use to catch plankton from the water. They’re often found living peacefully among the tentacles of anemones or nestled into rocky crevices. With ornamental patterns, usually speckled in red or blue, and elegant feeding movements, they are a standout addition to peaceful reef aquariums.

Despite the name, they’re not true crabs — they’re more closely related to squat lobsters and are completely harmless to corals, fish, and inverts.
